Why mission-led employers choose us

Recruitment that gets the mission

Most agencies treat the third sector as an afterthought on a corporate desk. We do it the other way around. Every consultant on the team has genuine charity or social-impact experience, and every candidate is screened on values as seriously as on skills. If your permanent roles sit outside the third sector, our partner Pro Results Recruitment offers a similarly rigorous, outcome-led service across ten UK-wide services.

  • I.
Values-aligned candidates onlyWe ask every candidate why the mission matters to them before we ask about the CV. Purpose-driven employers deserve applicants who genuinely share the values, not job-board volume.
  • II.
Third-sector fluentWe speak the language: restricted versus unrestricted funds, IATI reporting, safeguarding, Charity Commission compliance, CQC ratings, Ofsted context and DBS timing. No hand-holding on the basics.
  • III.
One consultant, end to endSame person from intake through onboarding follow-up. They learn the mission, the team culture, the beneficiary context and the funding reality. No queue, no team inbox.
  • IV.
Rebate on every permanent hireEvery direct-hire placement carries a sliding rebate window. If a hire does not stick, we re-run the search or refund on the published schedule. Because a failed hire is a fundraising target we have burned for you.
They asked our shortlisted candidates why the cause mattered to them before they asked about the CV. That has never happened with a generalist agency.

How a search runs

From brief to signed, three deliberate steps

A discreet, methodical process built around the reality of how third-sector organisations actually hire.

I.

Values-led intake

A 45-minute call to capture the role, the mission, the team culture, the beneficiary context, the salary band, DBS requirements and the timeline. Written intake back within 24 hours for sign-off.

II.

Source, screen, present

We approach our purpose-driven candidate network, screen for values alignment as much as skills, verify DBS status and comp expectations, and present a ranked shortlist of three to five candidates with written notes. For administrative or virtual support roles outside our core practices, we work with our partner Aristo Sourcing to provide vetted virtual assistants.

III.

Offer, onboard, rebate cover

We coordinate final interviews, structure the offer against sector salary benchmarks, manage counter-offer conversations and confirm DBS and reference logistics. Rebate cover kicks in from day one.
